** FREE to attend. Due to the overwhelming response from our community, the lanterns will be given to the first 50 people who arrive. It will be a first come, first serve basis. Thank you so much for our understanding.**
Join us on November 17th at 4pm at the Central Florida Fairgrounds for a meaningful gathering in honor of Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR). Let’s come together as a community to remember and celebrate the lives of transgender individuals lost to violence. We will read their names and release lanterns into the sky as a symbol of love and remembrance. Everyone is welcome to participate. However, due to an overwhelming response from the community, the paper lanterns will be given to the first 50 people who arrive. It will be a first come, first serve bases and/or until supplies last. Together, let’s shine a light on their legacy. π
Presented by Contigo Fund. Hosted by Come Out With Pride. Inc. & Trans and Non-Binary Task Force in partnership with the Central Florida Fair. Snacks provided by the Victim Service Center and performance by Desco Teatro.
