The Main Street Community Yard Sale is a great opportunity to repurpose unwanted items and find new treasures! Vendors typically sell pre-owned household items including furniture, clothing, tools, decorations, toys, and electronics. The Community Yard Sale is limited to private individuals. This is NOT a craft/artist market and NO commercial vending is permitted. No selling of food, drinks, or animals will be permitted. The event is held on Jackson Street in Downtown Forsyth. In the event of inclement weather the Main Street staff will make a decision on if the event will be rescheduled. Spaces are assigned as applications are received. A completed application and payment online must be received before your space will be confirmed. The space fee is $20 per space, you will ONLY be charged if your application is approved. NO REFUNDS: There are no refunds of fees as they are used for promotional materials and other event costs. WEATHER: The event will continue as scheduled as longs as the weather allows us to continue to operate safely. In the event of inclement weather a decision will be made by Main Street if there will be a rescheduled date. VENDOR SPACE: Each vendor space will be 10x10 on Jackson St. No additional materials will be provided (tent, tent weights, tables, clothing racks, shelves, etc.). Any items must not go beyond your outlined space. All tents must be weighted down for safety. Tent staked will not be able to be used, as will be in a parking lot. SPOT REQUESTS: As this is a completely new location, we are unable to accept vendor space requests. SETUP: Setup will run from 8am-11am, all vendors must be ready for Yard Sale to begin at 11am. Cars will be allow for load in, but will need to be removed before 11am. BREAKDOWN: Breakdown can begin anytime but you will not be allowed to bring vehicles in to load out until after Yard Sale is over at 5pm. After the event all vendors are responsible for cleaning up all items in their space and removing it from the property.
