Body Safety workshop Tickets

Purpose: to provide a 2-hour live workshop for parents, caregivers, and adults to empower them to recognize, prevent, and act responsibly about child sexual abuse. Participants will have all the tools they need to talk with their children’s caregivers and children at The Parenting Safe Children workshop: The Workshop will provide: Accurate information about child sexual assault so the adults can prevent, recognize, and act responsibly build your Safety Village. The workshop will cover: What is Sexual Assault What makes children and their families vulnerable to sexual assault How Does Sexual Assault happen Grooming behaviors that precede sexual assault The importance of establishing a No Secret rule and how it helps with prevention How to handle disclosure Language to speak with your children’s caregivers about body safety Body Safety Rules every child should know to help decrease vulnerability How to create a Safety Village of caregivers

Each 1.5-hour interactive in-person workshop is designed for children ages 5-7 and 8-10 years ( boys and girls), with the workshop done separately for girls and boys ages 11-12, boys and girls. Workshop: Body Safety Education/Virtual Workshop aims to educate and empower children with the skills needed to help reduce their vulnerability to sexual assault.
