Ever wanted to try your hand at creating a still life, but don’t know where to begin? Come join artist Karen Mazzoline as she guides you through the artistic process of drawing still life in pastel! Treat yourself to an evening of fun and learning as we work with pastel’s unique properties. All materials will be provided and no experience is necessary.

In this workshop, led by talented local artist Ron Paquin, you'll learn how to create a beautiful birch bark wall pocket adorned with a porcupine quilled trillium flower. All supplies are included, and no experience is necessary. Don't miss this opportunity to unleash your creativity and take home a stunning piece of art. This class will fill quickly. In this interactive program for children of all ages, we'll look closely at the amazing world of insects from their life cycles to their role in the food web. Maureen Stine will teach us about some "bug basics" including their characteristics and incredible adaptations which enable them to live everywhere on earth! lf time and weather allows, we'll go on a search for these critical critters! Class will conclude with a bug related craft project with artist Cheryl Gordon. $5.00 per person. This class is made possible by a grant from Les Cheneaux Community Foundation.

Ink pen drawing can be a wonderful experience as you learn the various ways to create from this medium. Come spend a Saturday with Artist Karen Mazzoline as she guides you in the practice of pen and ink drawing! You will have the opportunity to work with different types of ink to create simple drawings and a more detailed image. All materials will be provided!
