NEW FOR 2021: To ensure safety and to promote public health, registration is required and attendance will be limited.
Enjoy a musical under the stars! Watch a free performance of the Aurora Theatre’s production of Disney’s Newsies on the new stage at the recently renovated Lawrenceville Lawn. Groups of up to six people can register to attend together.
Social distancing will be mandated at this event. Attendees will be seated by City of Lawrenceville staff and volunteers. Event staff will place Bicentennial souvenir blankets on the Lawn prior to the start of the event to provide registered attendees socially-distant “pods” in-front of the stage. One blanket will be provided per group. Lawn chairs are allowed.
**One registration will grant access to an event pod. A maximum group of 6 can occupy one pod. Groups cannot exceed 6 people.**
A special ribbon cutting ceremony will take place before the musical begins in celebration of the newly renovated Lawrenceville Lawn!
Event Timeline:
5PM: Check in begins
6PM: Check in closes (Please arrive by 6PM to ensure entry)
