Meet Allie: Allie Phifer, born and raised in Birmingham, AL, is an internationally recognized bar and hospitality professional. She began her creative skills in theater, debate, and creative arts—and found herself enamored with the world of Spirits. Since her humble beginnings, she’s represented Alabama as the 2017 Bacardi “Shakers in the Sand” Grand Champion, 2019 AL Master of the Manhattan, and the first person to ever represent Alabama as a 2019-2023 Tales of the Cocktail’s “Cocktail Apprentice.” Her love for the industry knows no bounds, and she encourages her students to find the same passion. Meet Tony: Multi-instrumentalist Tony Staffiero is a jazz, funk, and R&B saxophonist and recording artist. After studying Jazz Studies at Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana, Tony moved to Atlanta, where he has been a member of multiple bands including Ruby Velle & the Soulphonics, Atlanta Funk Society, and Fourth Ward Afro Klezmer Orchestra, touring all over the United States. He has also recorded with Ruby Velle & the Soulphonics, Diamond Street Rhythm Machine, and Charles Walker and the Dynamites, to name a few.
