Event Dates/Times: July 5 & July 6, 2025 from 12:00pm - 10:00pm each day.
Load in to be completed no later than 10:00am each day.
Vendor Criteria:
- One vendor per space.
- Vendor must attend both days of the event.
- Accepted vendors must create one (1) smaller-sized "Taste of" item that can be sold at a lower price.
Application Process:
- Applications will be accepted through February 18, 2025.
- Vendors are chosen with many factors considered to ensure a wide variety of food types are available and a successful vendor-to-guest ratio is met. Vendor spaces will be limited.
- Vendors will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance by email starting March 4, 2025.
- Registration payment will be collected from food vendors after acceptance into the event to confirm participation. All payments are non-refundable. Payment will be made via a payment link provided in an email sent to accepted vendors.
Required Uploads at Time of Application:
- Images of your food set-up.
Fees and Payment:
It is free to apply for the 2025 Taste of Minnesota. However, for approved vendors, in exchange for the right to sell consumable food or drink during the festival, the Vendor agrees to pay the Taste of Minnesota the registration fee plus 20% of net sales from the event.
There are two levels of registration fees:
- Priority: $950 (Allows an approved vendor to select top two zones in which they wish to be placed.)
- Standard: $650 (Approved vendor will be placed by Taste of Minnesota.)

Prior to leaving the event each night, Vendor shall submit sales information to the designated site personnel. Final amount due will be calculated and paid by Vendor no later than July 18, 2025.
Registration fees include services such as - onsite event support, onsite parking (2 personal vehicles), food sponsor permit fee, etc.
Required Items for Approved Vendors:
- ST-19
- Minneapolis Mobile Food License or Seasonal Food Permit. If neither, a Short Term Food Permit Application must be submitted.
- Proof of Insurance in the form of a Certificate of Insurance (COI)
- Fire Extinguisher: Type K extinguisher is required for grease or oil fryers. Otherwise, you will need a type ABC extinguisher.
- Waste Management: Vendor must dispose of trash, recycling and organics material in the proper receptacles BEFORE exiting the event each night. A cleanup fee may be charged if Taste of Minnesota site personnel has to remove any waste.

- Vendors are required to provide their own 10x10 tents. Tents are NOT provided by Taste of Minnesota.
- All Vendor items must be contained within their 10x10 space.
- Approved vendors will be required to submit a ST-19 and Waiver & Indemnification Agreement
