The Suwanee Summer Porch Jam was started as part of Make Music Day — an international celebration of music! Launched in 1982 in France, it is held on the Summer Solstice every year in more than 750 cities in 120 countries. Suwanee decided to move our event and keep it on the Friday before the Summer Solstice each year.
Summer Porch Jam will have the feel of an old-fashioned summer block party. Featuring food trucks and beer and wine, musicians will be playing outdoors at multiple venues throughout Old Town Suwanee.
Bring a chair or blanket and stroll from venue to venue, enjoying a variety of musicians! Parking is available at Town Center and a shuttle departs from the library AND Town Center Park to one of 4 stops along the way.
Venues include Huthmakers, The Everett's Music Barn, Mayor Burnette's porch, Thigpen porch, Burnette Rogers Pavilion and other porches in the Old Town area! Event is free and so is the trolley! Come join us for music, food and fun as you stroll though our old town area!
