VENDOR ACCEPTANCE: Applications to vend at Shop and Stroll Events are considered individually based on several qualities including but not limited to; type of product, attractiveness of the display, locality, community reviews, and professionalism.  Vendor will help promote and "share" event promotions SPACE: Vendor displays and staff must stay within the designated square footage of space requested. This includes display racks, tables, etc. You should bring your tent displays and a table with chairs. No tent stakes are allowed. For the safety and security of our event, tent weights are required. Each participant is responsible for preparing their displays to withstand weather fluctuations including rain and wind. SPACE ASSIGNMENTS ARE PROVIDED AT CHECK-IN AND NOT BEFORE. ALL VENDORS MUST COMPLY WITH ALL STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS, STATUTES AND REGULATIONS.  All sales belong to the vendor. Vendors are solely responsible for collecting and reporting applicable sales tax.  All vendors agree to meet the regulations and to pay applicable fees to North Carolina. We do not answer any tax questions and do not collect this information for this event.  ELECTRICITY: there is NO electricity at this OUTSIDE event  SET-UP/TEAR DOWN: Vendors must agree to comply with set-up timelines. All vehicles must be removed from the event area no later than 15 minutes before the start of the event. Vendors shall remain open during the official event hours.  The vendor will not break down or leave before the event ends under any circumstance. RAIN OR SHINE EVENTS The Vendor understands this event is a rain or shine event and is expected to attend. No refunds or credits will be given because of weather conditions on the day of the event. Vendors are responsible for disposing of their trash in the appropriate receptacles and removing any large items from the premises.  REFUNDS: The Vendor understands that NO REFUNDS or CREDITS will be given. (Under any circumstance).  If a vendor has a change of plans or decides not to participate after payment is made, they do so with the knowledge that they will not receive a refund. The Vendor understands that no refunds will be given if the event has to be canceled because of any force majeure. RELEASE: I consent to be photographed, videotaped, and/or otherwise recorded by Shop and Stroll Markets. I grant the right to use my likeness to publish, promote, distribute, modify, or edit any recordings that feature or include my likeness in any media.    WAIVER: I agree to waive any claims of whatever nature against Shop and Stroll Markets, its employees, successors, and any volunteers, building owners, and tenants.  Vendors are legally and financially responsible for all damages to grounds or other property caused by themselves or their employees. By submitting this application form, you as a potential vendor are acknowledging that you have received a copy of our legal disclaimer and agree to all terms that are contained within them if you are accepted to participate in the event.
