What is Historic Downtown Gallatin, Inc?
We are Gallatin’s official Main Street Program, dedicated to preserving the charm, vitality, and economic growth of our historic downtown. As a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, we work to create innovative ways to bring more people downtown, fostering a vibrant community where businesses thrive. We also own and operate the Historic Palace Theater, Tennessee’s oldest silent movie theater, keeping its rich legacy alive for future generations. Guided by a board of directors, we serve as a bridge between the public and private sectors, united in our mission to promote, preserve, and revitalize Gallatin’s downtown business district.
