Thank you for applying for the 2024-2025 Shop Downtown Outdoor Saturday Market hosted by LaBelle Downtown Revitalization Corporation (LDRC).Market Days: November 2, 2024, December 7, 2024, January 4, 2025, February 1, 2025, March 1, 2025, and April 5, 2025 Time: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Location: DeSoto Ave starting at Main St/DeSoto Ave intersection, along DeSoto Ave. to Barron Park (DeSoto Ave/Lee St intersection), down Lee St., not to pass Park Ave.For those who need to enter it in GPS, please use the Barron Library address if you are on the west side of Bridge Street: 461 N. Main Street, LaBelle, FL 33935. If you are setting up on the east side of Bridge Street, it would be best to use the LaBelle Gallery and Cultural Center address: 471 N. Lee Street, LaBelle, FL 33935. **PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR TENT WILL BE ON PAVEMENT. PLEASE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO ANCHOR ACCORDINGLY. ** We are along the river, and sometimes we get a nice breeze. Please have tent weights to prevent your tent from blowing away. Cost: $25 for per 10x10 booth space per month
Vendor fees are non-refundable LDRC requires payment at the time of vendor approval. Vendors may pay in advance for the entire season (Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr - $150) or pay monthly. Payments are processed via Eventeny, which uses Stripe.
**Please reach out to Kelly Boone (kelly@downtownlabelle.com) if you wish to sign up for additional months after your first transaction.** Our organization will do our best to accommodate your booth location wishes.Vendors are responsible for their tables, chairs, and tents (optional). We do our best to prevent duplicate vendors, so please verify acceptance before attending the Saturday Market. Please note on your vendor application if electricity is needed. Vendors are responsible for bringing their electrical cords.
Vendors may set up between 7:00 am to 8:30 am.DeSoto Avenue can get quite hectic the closer it gets to 9:00am so the earlier you come, the better.
We will have barricades to stop traffic from entering the vendor area. Please return the barricades after coming through them to prevent unwanted cars in the area.
The Market is open from 9am to 2pm.
Please no vehicles in the Market area after 8:30am.
Please stay until 2pm (weather permitting). It deters shoppers from visiting when they see vendors closing down early. If you need to leave earlier than 2pm, please let us know so we can place you in an area that will not leave a gap.
Vendor locations will be indicated before each event via Eventeny group message on Monday or Tuesday the week of the event (at the latest). DeSoto Avenue is marked with yellow numbered booth spaces. There will be yellow dots marking the 13x13 space you are provided. Please make every attempt to stay within your yellow dots so your neighbor has the same amount of space. You will see your designated number in front of your vendor name on the map corresponding to your booth space. If you cannot locate your booth space, please find Kelly Boone or ask a neighbor for assistance before setting up. We ask that you share on social media and through word-of-mouth to help promote the event; you will be listed in any and all LDRC media releases.
On the day of the event, LDRC puts out signage throughout downtown and the surrounding area. The Markets are also advertised on radio, in print, and digitally throughout Hendry County and outlying counties. Parking: Please do not park in the Barron Library parking lot. There is a grassy lot on the corner of Park Ave and Lee St (the park side of the event) that you can park in. There is parking down Lee Street. Please consider parking south of Park Ave so that attendees will have a place to park. On the library side, you can park on Park Ave or along the service road parallel to Barron Library. Please make sure you park south of the library exit. We don’t want it to seem like there are cars in our vending area. There will be a port-o-potty there. Park south of that, please. Parking in the First Baptist Church parking lot may be available. Please reach out if you have any questions. Thank you so much for joining us!
