Ann Carol Pence –Aurora Theatre (Co-Founder/Producing Artistic Director)
Arranged the music for Aurora’s first Christmas Canteen in 1996 and was hired full-time in September of 1998 as Resident Musical Director. An education major at James Madison University, she used her background to develop Learning Library (or L2). As a musician, she created Aurora’s Musicals by Moonlight, and Aurora’s New Musical Initiative. She has performed as pianist and music director both nationally (Goodspeed Opera House, Pasadena Playhouse, The Cleveland Playhouse, The Kennedy Center) and locally (The Alliance, Theatrical Outfit, The Horizon, Georgia Ensemble Theatre,). As a proud citizen of Gwinnett, Ann-Carol is most proud of Aurora Theatre winning the first ever Pinnacle Award for Large Non-Profit, and the first ever Moxie Award (for woman-led businesses) for Aurora Theatre. These distinctions go well with her 5 Suzi Awards for Outstanding Music Direction. She was a participant in the 2016 Atlanta Regional Leadership Institute and member of the “Best Class Ever!”

Lisa Anders – Executive Director – Explore Gwinnett
Lisa Anders leads Explore Gwinnett Tourism + Film, Gwinnett’s official destination marketing organization, as well as serving as the county’s Film Office. She’s passionate about destination development, film, hospitality/film workforce development, arts, all things food and drink and is incredibly fortunate all of those initiatives are part of what Explore Gwinnett does every day! Lisa’s a Tennessee native, but has lived on Atlanta for 30 years. She is active on boards of Southeast Tourism Society, the Aurora Theatre, Partnership Gwinnett and the Leadership Gwinnett Foundation. Other than that, it’s family, dogs and tennis!

Lisa White – Academy Coach – Central Gwinnett High School
Lisa White, a proud Detroit native and lifelong fan of all things from her hometown, "Go Lions!", began her teaching career in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1997, specializing in Journalism. In 2005, she moved to Georgia and joined Gwinnett County Public Schools and Central Gwinnett's Theatre Department in 2007. By 2021, Lisa had the opportunity to become the Academy Coach at Central, a role she cherishes for its impact on community and student engagement. She eagerly anticipates further expanding these opportunities in the upcoming school year.

Lisa Engberg – Executive Director, Lawrenceville CoOP
Lisa Engberg started with the Co-Op in October of 2021. She took over as the Executive Director in August of 2023 after serving almost two years as the Director of Development and Communications. Lisa is responsible for the overall operations of our program. She is a proud University of Tennessee grad with a degree in marketing. Prior to the Co-Op, she worked in management, development, training, and marketing with several consumer product companies and ran a local preschool for almost 20 years. She loves going to groups and sharing the mission and vision of the Lawrenceville Co-Op and would be honored to speak at your next event.

Andrea Barclay – Executive Director – Because One Matters
In 2015, Andrea Barclay established Because One Matters with a fervent dedication to supporting children and young adults impacted by foster care, fueled by the profound loss of her daughter to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in 1990 and a divine calling. Today, through her leadership, Because One Matters enriches and nurtures countless young lives and those of their caregivers, relying first and foremost on her faith and obedience to follow and flourish where God has led her. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's and Master's in Business Administration, Instructional Design, and Project Management. With over 27 years of experience in the business sector, she brings a wealth of expertise to her nonprofit leadership. Andrea is a 2024 graduate of Leadership Gwinnett. She finds joy in traveling and cherishing moments with her family and friends. Her passions extend to reading and gardening, which she finds deeply therapeutic.

Bobbie Menneg – Beyond the Ribbon, Board President
Bobbie Menneg, a lifelong resident of Georgia's Gwinnett County, has dedicated herself to supporting cancer patients after experiencing her own battle with breast cancer in 2011. Her journey as a patient at Northside Gwinnett Hospital led her to recognize the challenges many face in their fight against cancer within the local community. Moved by this realization, Bobbie transitioned from volunteering at cancer organizations to becoming a passionate advocate and founder of Beyond the Ribbon, Inc. Through Beyond the Ribbon, Bobbie and her team, affectionately known as the BTR Squad, provide essential support to cancer patients and their families. They offer not just financial assistance but also emotional support, understanding the profound impact cancer can have on every aspect of life. Bobbie's commitment goes beyond practical help; she brightens the holidays for affected families, bringing them moments of joy and normalcy during difficult times. With personal experience guiding her, Bobbie ensures that Beyond the Ribbon is a beacon of hope in her community. Her organization stands as a testament to her unwavering compassion and dedication to making a difference, offering personalized insights and support to those navigating the challenges of cancer. Through her tireless efforts, Bobbie continues to inspire others with her selflessness, one family at a time.
