The City of Wood Dale is excited to announce that this year’s annual Prairie Fest will take place from Thursday, June 26, to Sunday, June 29, at the Community Park Ball Fields, located near 655 N. Wood Dale Road. Prairie Fest began in 2001 as a picnic to promote community involvement and togetherness. What started as a one-day picnic celebration became a four-day carnival and festival. In recent years, nearly 20,000 attendees have enjoyed culinary delights, carnival rides, live music, and a spectacular fireworks display! Our headlining band is scheduled for Friday night this year, and we’re excited to announce that Everclear will perform! This announcement was so big, it caught the attention of the Daily Herald! We’re also bringing back live wrestling on Sunday and expanding our free children’s entertainment, which will be fun and educational! Additionally, we have partnered with the Wood Dale Public Library to support their Summer Reading Program and have expanded the BINGO activities offered by the VFW, which is also celebrating its 90th anniversary. Sponsorship for Prairie Fest 2025 includes direct exposure, name placement in promotional materials, and opportunities for customized promotions.
