About the event
Columbus Day weekend will bring waves of fun-filled adventures to Panama City Beach with the annual Pirates of the High Seas Fest and Renaissance Festival. Setting sail October 7-9, 2022, this year's FREE festival is sure to take pirate fun to a whole new level. Bring the family to experience all the FUN, including a scavenger hunt, pirate invasions, a kids parade and main parade, live music, vendors, fireworks and so much more! This is a week in Panama City Beach you won't want to miss!
Even though Panama City Beach will be invaded by hordes of pirates, rest assured these fun-loving scoundrels are more interested in throwing a party that is fun for the entire family.

Blue Mermaid Designs Live Mermaid Exhibit
Come see Our Live Mermaid Exhibit to see these fascinating creature of lore! Our high seas explorer will regale you with tales of their studies of these elusive creatures, while you interact with our mermaids as they swim in a huge portable water vessel. The mermaid will even share her special treasures with all who promise to help keep the oceans clean!

Cannon Crew
Living History Displays; candle making, rope making, period cooking, and a weapons display. The Cannon Crew also engages in sword fighting, whip and cannon fire demonstrations.
Pirates of the White Sands
Our very own Pirates of the White Sands, a pirate non profit that does good works in our community will have several tents and be hosts to almost 40 visiting authentic pirates from around the country.
Beach Stilts Entertainment
Stilt walkers and jugglers.
Mission San Luis
From 1656 to 1704, Mission San Luis served as the principal village of the Apalachees and was the Spaniards' westernmost military, religious, and administrative capital.
Come escape to another time, and share the spirit of Mission San Luis with friends and family!
