About the event
Park Lights & Movie Nights are back to offer free family friendly movies under the stars. Join the city’s Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department at various city of Aurora community parks for another cinematic lineup of treasured classics and new favorites. Event will begin at 5:00 p.m. with an Aurora Library Summer Jam concert. Join us on the following dates: • Wednesday, May 28 - Moana 2 (PG) Traditions Neighborhood Park • Wednesday, June 25 - Grease (PG) Aqua Vista Park • Wednesday, July 9 - IF (PG) Country Lane Park •Wednesday, July 23- Captain America: Brave New World (PG-13) Mission Viejo The events are free; no registration required. Bring chairs, blankets and snacks to enjoy during the show. A limited supply of free popcorn will be available at each show. Food trucks will be onsite selling drinks and snacks.

The estimated attendance for this event is 150.

 

All food vendors must be licensed by Arapahoe County and have the appropriate City of Aurora Tax License.

BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION PLEASE GATHER THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS-

 

Food Trucks and Trailers-

  • County Mobile Food Vendor License (Please note we are able to accept mobile food vendor licenses from any county in Colorado except for City/County of Denver)
  • City of Aurora Mobile Food Vendor Tax License 
  • Certificate of Insurance naming the City of Aurora as additionally insured (see below for COI requirements)
  • Proof of Workers Comp Insurance or Workers Comp Waiver (see below for more information)

 

Tented food booths that DO NOT qualify as cottage foods-

  • Arapahoe County Special Food Event License (Please note we are unable to accept special event licenses from any other county)
  • City of Aurora tax license (commissary kitchen, bakery, snack vendor etc). or free one-day event tax license (see below for more information)
  • Certificate of Insurance naming the City of Aurora as additionally insured (see below for COI requirements)
  • Proof of Workers Comp Insurance or Workers Comp Waiver (see below for more information)
