About the event
Sunday, May 11, 2025 | 8:00am Start The walk began in the year 2000 with founders Carol Moriarty, who is a breast cancer survivor, her sister Nancy Mulcahy, and friend Lisa O’Brien, who rallied 30 friends to walk on Mother’s Day. As of 2024, participation has blossomed to over 7,000 annual walkers who have raised more than $7.5 million to support patients and their families in the fight against breast cancer! The tradition of the OSF Beverly Breast Cancer Walk holds a special place in the heart of our community. OSF HealthCare Little Company of Mary Medical Center is proud to continue the tradition on Mother’s Day, May 12, 2024. All proceeds from the OSF Beverly Breast Cancer Walk will benefit OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Center Survivorship Clinic. The dollars will be used to support the services of the clinic, which includes, but is not limited to, services such as psychotherapy, counseling, and nutrition.
