By submitting an application to become a Community Partner of OC Pride, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
The Community Partner Application is open to nonprofit organizations, community groups, small businesses, and individuals committed to serving and uplifting the LGBTQIA+ community in Orange County.
OC Pride reserves the right to approve or deny any application at its discretion based on mission alignment, community impact, and organizational capacity.
2. Expectations of Approved Community Partners
Approved Community Partners may be invited to collaborate on OC Pride’s year-round Pride 365 programming and/or be considered for participation in the annual OC Pride Festival & Parade.
Community Partners must uphold OC Pride’s values of inclusivity, equity, and celebration of diversity.
All content, programming, and messaging must align with OC Pride’s mission and be appropriate for the intended audience, whether all-ages or adults-only.
Partners are expected to attend planning meetings as needed and maintain clear communication with OC Pride staff or appointed liaisons.
3. Festival Activation Zone Proposals
Only approved Community Partners will be eligible to receive an invitation to submit an Activation Zone Proposal for the OC Pride Festival.
Invitations to submit do not guarantee final selection or implementation of proposed zones or activities.
All activation zone proposals are subject to review, approval, and modification by the OC Pride Programming Committee.
4. Branding and Promotion
Community Partners may be featured in OC Pride’s marketing and promotional materials at the discretion of OC Pride.
Use of OC Pride logos, branding, or references must be pre-approved in writing and used only in accordance with OC Pride’s branding guidelines.
5. Conduct and Representation
Community Partners and their representatives are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner at all OC Pride events and meetings.
Any actions or behaviors that are discriminatory, disruptive, or harmful to the community or to the reputation of OC Pride may result in removal from the Community Partner Program.
6. Liability and Insurance
Community Partners participating in physical events (including Pride 365 and the annual festival) may be required to provide proof of liability insurance or sign liability waivers, depending on the nature of their involvement.
OC Pride is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to property belonging to Community Partners during events.
7. Termination of Partnership
OC Pride reserves the right to terminate any Community Partnership at any time if terms are violated, if the partnership is no longer aligned with the mission and values of OC Pride, or due to changes in programming needs.
