Kids will have a blast in our dedicated Kids Zone, featuring a bouncy house and plenty of fun activities.

The Help Center North Carolina
The Help Center NC is a nonprofit organization that provides emergency support services to families facing hunger and other challenges within the Kerr-Tar region.
Durham County Department of Public Health
Members of the gun safety team and the COVID 19 Health Literacy team will be attending. The Durham Gun Safety Team works to reduce the number of gun injuries and deaths within Durham County. Bull City Strong (BCS) is an Office of Minority Health funded initiative to improve health literacy in Durham to further an equitable community response to COVID-19. We hope to address the increased risk of contracting, being hospitalized, and dying from COVID-19 among historically marginalized populations in Durham County. BCS also aims to support Community Health Workers to promote changes in the health care delivery system that improve health information, communication, informed decision making, and access to health services.
Self-Help Credit Union
Self-Help Credit Union's mission is creating and protecting ownership and economic opportunity for all, especially people of color, women, rural residents and low-wealth families and communities. We were invited to this event to spread the word about some of the free services we provide for the community in the Triangle Area.

Urban Community AgriNomics
Urban Community AgriNomics (UCAN) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded April 29th, 2016 by sisters, Delphine Godley Sellars and Lucille Godley Patterson. This organization reflects their desire to engage the community of Northern Durham with skills based in agriculture and providing a place for those within the community to have access to fresh fruits and vegetables. UCAN has donated over 60,000lbs of fresh vegetables and fruits, through local harvesting and gleaning events sponsored by the Society of St. Andrews. UCAN provides opportunities for a diverse group of board members and volunteers. A partnership with Triangle Land Conservancy (TLC) led to a User License Agreement, resulting in the creation and development of the Catawba Trail Farm.
City of Durham - Fats, Oils and Grease Program
We are are the Industrial Waste Control Division which houses the FOG Program whose purpose is to encourage the proper disposal of fats, oils and greases created by food prepartion. We request participation in effort to decrease the number of sanitary sewer overflows as well as sewage backup into residential homes thereby not endangering public health and saving money in response to such blockages.

El Centro Hispano stands as the longest-serving Latino organization in North Carolina, dedicated to serving the Hispanic/Latine population across Durham, Wake, Orange, and neighboring counties. Our organization is always looking to connect with the community and neighbors, to provide information about our resources and services.

Gramps BBQ is a small sole proprietorship business which is veteran owned, operated and local to the Wake Forest/Raleigh area. I created Gramps BBQ Original Thick and Tangy Barbecue Sauce 10 years ago due to suffering from acid reflux and other issues eating spicy and fiery based BBQ sauces. It is a KC/Texas style "thick and tangy" sauce made with an assortment of spices and a dry rub infused into the sauce. Designed to stick to the meat and not the bottom of your grill. Since then I have expanded into other sauces, apparel and upcoming rubs and a cookbook.
