ACCEPTANCE PROCESS:
This is an application form for our "Nerrdy South Night Market"
We're throwing a curated anime, comic book, and fandom market with interactive workshops, therefore, vendors that align with those themes will be prioritized.
Spots are allocated on a curated, first-come, first-serve basis, however, not all vendors will be accepted. There are approx. 16 vending spots available.
You will receive a confirmation email and payment details by March 20th if accepted.
VENDOR AGREEMENT AND FEE:

ARTIST/ ARTISAN OPTION 1: $150 (if paid before March 18th), $175 after March 18th - Premium 10x10 Vendor Spot. Bring your own tent, etc. Outdoors in parking lot.
This vendor space is 10'x10'. 8 available slots as of 3/05/25. Up to two artists total can share one tent. It is up to the booking artist to coordinate the tent set-up and share details about their tent-mate.
ARTIST/ ARTISAN OPTION 2: $100 (if paid before March 18th), $120 after March 18th - General 6'x 3' Vendor Spot (1 table ONLY). Outdoors, covered. Bring your own table and up to two chairs.
This vendor space is 6'x3' and can accommodate ONE 6 foot table. You may not bring additional tables or racks- if you need additional space please purchase TWO spaces. SOLD OUT
Please note the vendor spot does not include table or chair rentals.
You must sign our vendor agreement and pay your non-refundable vendor fee within 48 hours of your spot being allocated and invoice being sent. Failure to make payment by the date given in your invoice will lead to your spot being given to another vendor on the waitlist, so please be responsive.
VENDOR SET UP:
All vendors are responsible for their entire setup including tables, chairs, racks, extension cords, command strips for signage, additional lighting, etc. NOTE THAT IT BECOMES DARK AT AROUND 5 PM, SO WE ENCOURAGE ALL VENDORS TO BRING BATTERY-POWERED LIGHTING.
All vendor tables must be public-ready by 2:45 PM or they forfeit their vending rights without refund.

Deadline to Check-In day of event: 4:30 PM
Please check into the event at the Kage Kickback tent near the front entrance of Baoshi Food Hall between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM. The deadline to check-in will be 4:30 PM.
Form must be submitted by 4/11/25 in order to participate. (Day of sign-ups may or may not be available)
NO PROP GUNS OR FULL TACTICAL SWAT GEAR COSPLAYS

Judging Categories:
#1 Character Look (Visual Accuracy): This category focuses on how well the cosplayer has captured the visual representation of the character.
Judges will assess: Accuracy of costume details (colors, patterns, silhouettes)
- Hairstyle and makeup.
- Use of props and accessories.
- Overall resemblance to the character.
Important Note: Judges are to evaluate the costumes based on their representation of the character, not on the perceived craftsmanship of the costume.
#2 Performance/Skit/Presentation:
This category focuses on the cosplayer's performance during their skit or presentation.
Judges will assess:Character portrayal (mannerisms, voice, personality).
- Originality and creativity of the performance.
- Stage presence and audience engagement.
- How well the performer conveys the characters personality.

Winner Selection:
Judges' Selection: Judges will independently score each participant in both categories.
The scores will be tallied to determine the 1st and 2nd place winners, based on the highest total scores.
Crowd Vote: The audience will vote for their 1st place winner.
The crowd vote will be factored in to determine the final first place winner. If the judges first place winner and the crowd first place winner are the same, that person is the winner. If they are different, the judges will have final say.
