The Cornell Art Museum is calling artists for its newest exhibition, “Nature’s Palette: Art Inspired by the Earth”, a group exhibition exploring nature through captivating creative expressions drawing inspiration from the beauty of the natural world. In this exploration, artists define nature art, dive into its various techniques to uncover the profound impact art has on our connection with nature. It will showcase the vibrant nature surrounding us with a nod to environmental concerns.

* Exhibition Dates: September 6, 2024 through February 2, 2025
* Curated by Marusca Gatto, Cultural Arts Director
* Exhibition opens September 6, 2024 (6pm to 9pm) - Live music and refreshments, meet and greet artists
* Exhibition will be installed in the upper level of the Cornell and on view through February 2, 2025
* Special events, art talks and art demonstrations by regional artists are planned
* Applications must be submitted by August 4, 2024.
* Application must include high-resolution images
* Also must include a brief artist statement explaining the connection of your work to the theme
Submissions of artworks in various forms are encouraged, including but not limited to: painting, sculpture, photography, works on paper, installations, digital art and video, crafts and textiles.
