8th Annual Mermaid Capital of Texas Fest and Downtown Street Faire

The Mermaid Capital of Texas Fest is created to celebrate San Marcos Texas' vibrant community while highlighting the San Marcos River. The Mermaid Promenade kicks off the festivities at 10am with over 100 Parade Entries. Immediately following is the Art Faire with artisan booths, face painters, Kid Zone and special events alongside the San Marcos River and adjacent streets. Live music, cultural dance performances, food courts, and downtown pubs and restaurants will all be part of the 2025 Mermaid Fest experience!
