Submitting a cottage food vendor application signifies you have read and will comply with all policies, guidelines, rules, terms, and conditions set forth in this application and prior to, during and after the event by event organizers. You understand that noncompliance with any event rules, local, state, or federal laws may result in your removal from the event.
You may apply as a cottage food vendor if you fit the following definition and meet all of the requirements outlined below and in the included links and attachments.
Definition: Cottage food vendors sell any food, excluding meat, that does not require time or temperature control to prevent spoilage.
Cottage food vendors do not need health permits to sell their products as long as all local and state cottage food law are followed.
Key Requirements are:
- All items must be prepared in your home kitchen
- NO temperature sensitive products that would require a cooler/refrigerator at your booth.
- Products must be labeled according to Cottage Food Law guidelines: company name, home kitchen address, product name, detailed ingredients, and allergens. (see attachment below).
- If samples are provided, they must be prepackaged and labelled following the guidelines below.

All cottage vendors must adhere to the event rules listed. Our health inspectors will be on-site inspecting each booth before we open.
If any vendor is not in compliance with all local and state cottage vendor laws, you will be asked to leave the event.

Maximum of three main items per vendor.
No more than two vendors will be allowed to sell the same main food items.
Vendors will supply tables, tents, chairs, display units, etc.
Vendors are responsible for leaving the area clean and all trash picked up.
This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the cottage food tent option, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.
Artists that would like to display and sell their work at Music Alley should apply by March 3, 2025 and pay the $10 application fee. Vendor applications will be accepted until March 12, 2025 with a late fee charge of $30. Artist vendor booths are reserved for fine artists and artisans displaying and selling their original work. Submission of an application does not guarantee a spot at the event. All applicants will be notified of their application status no later than March 14, 2025.

Music Alley is a one-day festival in Downtown Mansfield with live music and dance performances, food, interactive arts activities, and art exhibits. Artists are invited to submit a large-scale sculpture for this outdoor juried exhibition, where sculptures will be exhibited throughout the festival area. All mediums and styles are accepted. Sculptures must be secure to stand on their own. Artists can submit up to 3 pieces for jurying but must submit a separate application for each piece. Cash awards will be awarded at the festival for:
1st place: $800.00
2nd place: $500.00
3rd place: $200.00

Event details: April 5, 2025, 4-10 pm Walnut Street, Historic Downtown Mansfield, TX
Artwork Load in: April 5, 2025 between 8-10:30am. Artist specific site within the festival area and load-in time will be provided with your acceptance email. Artwork may be available for advance load-in upon request and dependent upon site location.
Artwork Takedown: April 5, 2025 at 10 pm from the artist site. There may be an opportunity for some sculptures to be displayed for a longer period of time upon specific request and pending site location. This exhibition will be juried by members of the Mansfield Commission for the Arts and City of Mansfield Cultural Arts Department staff.
