Winter Seal Products Company was founded in 1955 by Reverend Joseph W. Lambert, Sr. and his brother-in-law, Benton Cosby. The business originally was a franchise that manufactured and installed Aluminum storm doors and storm windows. In order to keep up the product demand, two shifts were employed. In the late 60’s, Joe W. Lambert, Jr. bought his Uncle Benton’s part of the business and later he became the sole owner of Winter Seal Products at the passing of his father in 1972. Lambert, Jr. after which, Winter Seal Products Company became incorporated in 1994. After assuming ownership, Roger Kinsler changed the vision of the company, offering new product lines such as wood and vinyl windows, mouldings and trim, and exterior and interior doors. One of Roger’s sons, Christopher Kinsler, has been involved in the daily company operations since 1994.
