Great Blue Heron Music Festival 2025

You'll be warmly welcomed at the entrance to The Heron! We will ask if you are a camping overnight or here for the day, or are you a vendor, volunteer or artist, guest, etc. We have one Main Gate where most everyone checks in and gets their wristbands and stickers. Generally, we checkin all patrons and volunteers while you are still in your car. A PARKING sticker for the RED LOT is free with the purchase of a ticket to the festival. You can come and go at any time over the weekend. Camping in the Red Lot is not allowed. We have multiple color-coded lots for camping. Every car is required to have a colored sticker on it to be on the property. These are sold separately from the weekend/day passes. You may purchase these ahead of time or at the gate. Walk-in Woods Camping is free with your festival ticket. If this is your choice, we will give you a Red Lot sticker for your vehicle at the gate. Park your car, walk-in with your gear and find a place for your tent on one of our enchanted trails. Wheels are a big help because the walk in is uphill on gravel terrain. Not an easy task! Families might be happier in one of the vehicle camping areas as the late night excitement in the woods almost never stops! Vehicle & RV Camping passes are available on-line or at the gate. We have 4 lots: • Green Lot is closest to the center of the festival and sells out first. • Orange Lot is across the pond, but an easy walk, and has a section of wooded area that fills quickly. • Purple Lot is across the road and up on a hill called Heron Overlook. It has some trees, is not as tightly packed and it's generally quieter because it's farther away from the music. We have never run out of spaces in Purple Lot, so rest assured, there will be a place to camp whenever you arrive. • The Red Lot Large RV area is for rigs that are longer than 40’ and/or that need to pull through. There are no hook ups or drinking water in Red Lot. Fill up before leaving home! All our Vehicle Camping areas are first come, first serve. We are not able to reserve spaces, so if you plan to camp with friends, try to arrive around the same time. Some attendees form a line on Waits Corners Road the night before the gate opens, but we have added a Thursday 4-day ticket to reduce this as much as possible. Vehicle camping spaces are staked and flagged for 20’ x 20’. If your RV or family camp is larger than this, you will need more than one sticker. None of the camping areas have hookups to power or water. Groups can combine spaces to make one larger camp, but you all must arrive together. No saving of spaces is allowed. Handicap accessibility is limited at The Heron with it's hilly terrain and gravel surfaces. There is no reservable handicap camping or parking spaces, so plan accordingly. If you have mobility issues, ask any golf cart driver for help. Motorized wheelchairs & scooters are allowed on site, but personal ATVs or golf carts are not. Please do not bring pets to the festival. They will be better off somewhere's else. See you soon! THANK YOU!
