Gastonia Middle and High School Visual Arts Show

The City of Gastonia Arts Committee is hosting the City of Gastonia Middle School and High School Visual Arts Show. The show is open to any middle and high school student that resides within the City of Gastonia limits. Students are required to upload their art by Sunday, February 23. Judges will be comprised of Gastonia Mayor and City Council and the City of Gastonia Arts Committee. There will be a first place winner for each participating school and overall first through third place winners for both middle school and high school entries. Winners will be notified early March and the picture of their artwork will be on display at Gaston MAX (Multicultural Arts Xperience) festival on Saturday, March 22 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Pictures of winning pieces will be displayed at the Schiele Museum from June 2025 through May 2026. When pieces are taken down in May 2026, an email will be sent to all winning artists to pick up their piece from the Parks and Recreation office.
