Consider taking the Valley Metro Light Rail to avoid event traffic. Enhanced service will begin at approximately 5pm on July 4. Attendees are encouraged to purchase an All-Day pass for $4 to avoid long lines at fare-vending machines following the event.
There are two stops near the event's Central Ave. pedestrian entrance; the Central/Campbell stop is just north of the Central Ave. event entrance; the Central/Indian School stop is just south of the Central Ave. event entrance.
Even though there is no vehicle entrance and no public parking at Steele Indian School Park for the Fabulous Phoenix 4th event, there are several options:
• Free parking is available at the Valley Metro Light Rail park-n-ride lots.
• Valley Metro Light Rail is fully accessible and has ample disabled-accessible parking spots at Light Rail park-n-ride lots. Several public pay parking lots in the surrounding area also offer disabled-accessible parking spots.
• The rideshare/taxi area is located on 2nd St. just south of Indian School Rd.
• Street parking may be available near the park, however, many areas will have street closures that greatly limit parking.
• Parking is available at public pay garages and parking lots.
• There are three pedestrian entrances: Central Ave. and Glenrosa Ave., 3rd St. and Indian School Rd., and 7th St. just north of Turney Ave.
