EVENT SUMMARY: This year we will be celebrating the 16th annual Druid City Arts Festival (DCAF) on Friday, April 4th from 5pm-9pm and Saturday, April 5th from 10am-5pm. DCAF's goal is to provide a quality arts and music festival, while also educating, engaging, and inspiring both youth and adults about the arts and humanities within the Tuscaloosa community. CATEGORIES:Artists may apply in up to 3 categories. You must submit a separate application for each category. If you sell jewelry, you may apply in a category other than Jewelry if jewelry is less than 10% of your items for sale. Otherwise, you must apply in Jewelry. All work displayed in the booth must be for sale.
Government Plaza in Downtown Tuscaloosa is located directly behind City Hall between Gary Fitts St (6th St) and 7th Street and is connected to the City of Tuscaloosa Intermodal Facility (parking deck).Address: 618 Almon Avenue, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401
- Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural.
- Fiber: Includes wearable and non-wearable.
- Glass: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes are permitted.
- Jewelry: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry. Items made from commercial parts may not be exhibited.
- Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. No jewelry will be accepted in this category.
- Mixed Media: Work which combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece.
- Musical Instruments: Handmade instruments.
- Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature.
- Photography: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only artist’s original source material is acceptable.
- Printmaking: Only hand-pulled original prints are allowed. Prints must be in limited editions, signed, and numbered.
- Sculpture: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium.
- Two-Dimensional: Drawing, painting, and digital works.
- Wood: Original works that are hand tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.

The Druid City Arts Festival is back for its 16th year! The two day event will be held at Government Plaza on Friday, April 4th from 5pm-9pm and Saturday, April 5th from 10am-5pm. A limited number of spaces will be available for food trucks on Gary Fitts Street (6th St) on both Friday night and Saturday. All food vendors will be required to have an active mobile food vending license or a City of Tuscaloosa franchise license. Vendor Fee: All food vendors are subject to a vendor fee of $75 (single day) or $150 (weekend). Payment will be due upon approval via the credit card you put on file. The City of Tuscaloosa is excited for the 16th annual Druid City Arts Festival in 2025! Any live performer wishing to showcase their talents at The Druid City Arts Festival event should apply using this form. Applications are due by 11:59pm on January 10, 2025. All applications must include a link to a website or online video that demonstrates at least three live songs being performed. If no online channel is available, applicants may submit a jump drive or CD that includes a live recording of at least three songs. This can be mailed to or dropped off at the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater Box Office at 2710 Jack Warner Parkway, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, Monday-Friday from 10:00am-5:00pm. The goal of the Kids Zone at Druid City Arts Festival is to engage children (and adults) in hands-on activities and demonstrations. Do note, that you will be required to stay for the duration of the event days which you attend. Breaking down and leaving early is not permitted. The Kids Zone is a high traffic area, especially on Saturdays, so ensure you are equipped with enough supplies for 500+. On Friday night, the last two hours of the festival will be after sunset. Be sure to bring lights for your tent.
