All paws on deck! A week before Dragon Con, one of the world's largest pop culture, sci-fi, and fantasy conventions, enlivens Downtown, metro Atlantans and their four-legged friends have another opportunity to get in on the cosplay fun. Doggy Con features a pet costume pageant with drool-worthy prizes (like free passes to Dragon Con!), dog-centric vendors, and plenty of pup culture. From Harry Pawter to BatDog and Robin, there’s room for everyone at Doggy Con. Prizes will be awarded in five categories: Best in Show; Best Doggy/Human Dynamic Duo; Best Character Cosplay; Best Small But Mighty Pup; and Best Big Buddy. Registration is required to participate in the Doggy Con pageant. Register for $10 by August 24th or register onsite at the event for $15. If you simply want to attend as a spectator, admission is free!
