PLEASE READ 100% OF THE INFORMATION BELOW 2024 ABSOLUT.® DANCE WORLD GO-GO AUDITIONS WHEN: Thursday, April 11, 2024 I Check-in 5:00pm, Auditions 6:00 pm WHERE: Trade | 475 Santa Fe Dr, Denver, CO 80204 We will be auditioning for both DJs and Go-Go Dancers at the same time. You will be dancing to music provided by the DJs during their auditions. Here is some additional information about your audition: Audition Timing: • Go-Go Dancer check-in is 5:00pm-6:00pm • Completed online application does not guarantee an audition slot. Slots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of auditions only. We will manage time slots and communicate with performers on-site. Please stay at the venue to wait your turn. • NO LATE CHECK-INS ACCEPTED FOR GO-GOs. If you have not checked in by 6:00pm, your slot will go to someone else. No exceptions! Go-Go Dancer Audition Rules: We are looking for dancers of all genders, ethnicities, shapes, and sizes. Please make sure to showcase your personality through costuming and movement onstage. Have fun and be comfortable in your own skin! • Go-Go Dancers will dance to music provided by the DJ auditioners. Direction and how long you will be given to dance will be provided on the day of. But, be prepared to dance multiple times. • What we are looking for: Dancers with high energy and skill level, as well as an ability to spark crowd participation. • We will be judging in real time, by a panel of 3 experienced judges • Bring whatever costume you plan to dance in at Pride. Get creative with your outfits! Changing areas will be provided. Go-Go Dancer Judging Guidelines and Audition Tips: The audience cheering can be a huge plus, so bring your friends and family with you! Are you entertaining? Do you have high energy? Do you have stage presence and an ability to connect with the audience? DOORS OPEN AT 5:00pm. Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase. Stay and party after your audition and cheer on the other Go-Go Dancers that are auditioning! Everyone is entitled to their opinion and we welcome your thoughts and feedback, nevertheless please be respectful and courteous with others.
