CODE OF CONDUCT AND SAFETY In order to provide a safe and secure environment for all our guests, the following code of conduct must be followed on Dayton Convention Center property. Violators will be asked to leave the building and charges may be filed for prosecution. The following are prohibited on DCC property: Visiting without wearing a shirt and shoes. Standing, walking, or sitting in any way that causes an inconvenience to other guests. Disorderly or disruptive conduct, including the use of obscene or insulting language or gestures, running, yelling, fighting, throwing objects, vandalizing, theft, littering, the loud playing of music, inciting or instigating physical or verbal confrontations. Use or display of slogans or communications of any kind which contain obscenities, racial, sexual, ethnic, fighting words or religious slurs. Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages outside of authorized areas, or the use of illegal substances. Loitering. Unauthorized distribution of literature, offering items for sale, soliciting guests, conducting surveys, videotaping or photography. Any act which could result in physical harm to people or property. Any act prohibited by Federal, State or Local laws. Smoking, including the use of vapes/electronic cigarettes. (Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 3794) Weapons or any other self defense mechanisms (i.e. tasers, pepper spray, swords, etc.), including certified concealed carry. Pressurized gas cylinders unless they comply with the Ohio Revised Fire Code or are < 1 lb. 1) Inside the Cintas Center, guests agree to abide by the lawful directions given to them by authorized Center Representatives. 2) Guests understand that the Cintas Center is a multi-purpose facility and as such events may be scheduled opposite volleyball games, basketball games, musical events, etc. Every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience this may cause. 3) No Smoking is permitted in the Cintas Center. 4) Parking is permitted in designated areas only. Guests of the Cintas Center may park in the “C-2” parking lot, located along the “East Entrance” driveway off of Musketeer Drive. XUCC assumes no responsibility for payment of any citation of any vehicle illegally parked. 5) No firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted in the Cintas Center. 6) No laser pens, air-horns, or any other amplification device or pyrotechnic device are permitted in the Cintas Center. 7) All signage, posters or banners are subject to approval. 8) No food or beverages may be brought into the Cintas Center by Patron or Patron’s guests from any external source. 9) Any audio, video or photography provided by an external source is permissible only with prior approval from authorized Cintas Center representatives. 10) No illegal drugs or other contraband may be brought into the Center. All boxes and bags are subject to search.
