Required Paperwork
1. A completed application/contract via Eventeny. (Eventeny charges 3% processing fee)
2. Payment (there will be a 3% processing charge for payment made via card or a maximum fee of $12 for ACH)
3. An uploaded copy of your current sales tax license.
4. An uploaded copy of your current liquor event permit (only applies to vendors selling/serving alcohol)
5. A current certificate of insurance (must follow guidelines listed below)
Insurance: Each individual vendor setting up is required to maintain a liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 for any one event or accident. The Columbia-Montour Visitors Bureau (121 Papermill Rd Bloomsburg PA 17815) and The Columbia County Agricultural Horticultural and Mechanical Association (620 W 3rd St, Bloomsburg, PA 17815) must be named as additional insured. (Liability limit for those vendors providing alcohol is $2,000,000.)
General Information
Please note: The Festival committee reserves the right to cancel or relocate any Vendor for any reason without recourse if it is deemed in the best interest of the festival.
• Vendor’s use of the space is non-transferrable.
• Event fee is non-refundable.
• The deadline to complete the application is July 15, 2024.
• Space assignments and other information will be mailed to accepted vendors on or about August 30, 2024.
• Vendors provide all items necessary to set up in their space.
• If you pay for electrical service and are located inside, an outlet or drop line will be provided. If you are outside, you are required to bring your own 30 amp/120V twist lock adaptor.
• Please be prepared to bring your own change. Change will not be available.
• The Columbia Montour Visitors Bureau offers no guarantees or warranties of any kind.
• The event is rain or shine; no refunds will be offered for a no-show vendor.
• Vendors must remove all products and equipment at the end of the festival, this includes trash and recyclables.
• Any vendor who does not abide by rules as presented, will be denied selling privileges and required to leave at the conclusion of the day.
• Use of racial or ethnic slurs, profanities, derogatory language and other inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and will be cause for denial of selling privileges and required to leave at the conclusion of the day.
• At its sole discretion, the Columbia Montour Visitors Bureau may revoke this contract if it is believed any terms of the contract have been violated.
• If the Columbia Montour Visitors Bureau revokes Vendor's selling privileges or otherwise cancels this contract, Vendor will immediately shut down and vacate the premises at the conclusion of the day.
• Medical assistance is located on 3rd St in the Fairgrounds.
• CMVB staff is located at the entrance of Gate 3, which is also the main entrance to the festival.
Festival Rules
All items for sale must be at least 80% handcrafted by the vendor. The vendor must be present during the entire show. All items must be the exact items listed on the application. Do not bring anything else except what is on the application. No buy/sell items permitted!
Vehicles are not allowed on-site while the event is in progress at any time. All vehicles must be off the grounds by 8am. All arts & crafts vendors coming into the festival are to use Gate 2, and food vendors are to use Gate 6B. Vehicles will be allowed to park at the designated parking areas; behind the buildings for arts & crafts vendors, and beyond D Ave for food vendors. Trailer parking is along the fenced area near Gate 2 and beyond D Ave. Each arts & craft vendor will receive one (1) parking pass. Each food vendor will receive two (2) parking passes. Any additional vendor assistants/employees should park in general parking.
Crafters may set up on Wednesday, October 2nd from 6:00am to 6:00pm. You must be off the Fairgrounds by 8:00pm. No Later! Thursday morning, October 3rd, set up must be between 6:00am and 8:00am (vehicles must be off the grounds by 8:00am). No set up prior to Wednesday! Booths must be completely set up, staffed and ready for business by 9:00am Thursday morning, but keep in mind, many visitors arrive early.
This show is held rain or shine, and vendors must stay for the entire show. If you leave the festival early (without permission) you will not be invited back. Vendors must make their own provisions for puddles and other problems caused by inclement weather. If you have rain collected on your outside easy up roofs, please dump it without drenching the attendees. All tents are to be anchored to withstand the elements of weather and collapse.
Tables should be covered to the ground and storage boxes out of sight. You must confine your set-up to the assigned space. This includes extra inventory. Most spaces are 20 feet long by 10 feet deep. Vendors must stay within the boundaries of your space that are marked out by the Festival Committee. Vendors provide their own tables and chairs as well as tents or canopies for outdoor spaces. Canopy frames may be used inside the buildings but not with covers on them.
No Generators are allowed.
Absolutely no space heaters of any kind are allowed anywhere.
The Bloomsburg Fair Association also has the following policies:
All cardboard boxes must be broken down and placed in a recycling area (behind the buildings)
No beverages in glass bottles are to be sold on the grounds
Vendors are responsible for any damage to the grounds at their location.
Smoking is allowed outside only. There is no smoking in any building
No animals are allowed on the Fairgrounds except for attractions and vested service animals.
The Columbia-Montour Visitors Bureau produces and coordinates this Festival. All aspects including advertising and promotion are handled by our office. Proceeds enable the CMVB to continue efforts to promote our two-county region and the state of Pennsylvania to potential visitors. Any and all questions, before or after the Festival, must be directed to Debbie Sokol at dsokol@cmvb.com. During the Festival, any questions may be addressed to a CMVB Festival staff person. If an issue of any kind arises, a decision will be made in the best interest of the Festival and the CMVB. The Festival organizers (CMVB) have the right to accept or reject any crafter or craft product, or to dismiss anyone who does not comply with these rules and regulations. All decisions are final.
