Cloud Run & Community Festival: Maker's Market

The Cloud Run & Community Festival is an event that invites the community to run and engage with the people that build and support the IT backbone of the cloud. On May 10, 2025 – in honor of International Data Center Day – the 7x24 DC Chapter is hosting our third annual Cloud Run event for our local community and the data center industry. Not only will you and your children enjoy a 4.99999k run/walk and 1 mile fun run around "Data Center Alley", you can explore the Data Center Discovery Zone! It is a fun, interactive opportunity to learn about Data Centers, including the five nines of reliability, and the numerous career paths available in the data center industry. Participants of all ages and academic levels will have the chance to meet Data Center experts to talk about skills/traits, scholarships, internships, trade programs, and other pathways to enter this lucrative industry while engaging in fun hands-on activities. The festival will have food trucks, music, local business vendors, an industry vendor expo, and lots of other fun activities. Please plan on spending most of the day with us and make memories that could change your life!
