Atlanta, GA – This holiday season, The Alliance for the Activation of Cook Park Conservancy and The Atlanta Music Arts and Culture Foundation proudly present : The Great Atlanta Tree Lighting at Rodney Cook Sr. Park, This will be a two-day Christmas event held on the first weekend of December, Saturday December 7th and Sunday December 8th. We will be located at Cook Park right across from the iconic Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Market Dates: December 7th-8th Market Times: 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM With the Atlanta Indie Market team managing the vendors, this event promises to be an unforgettable celebration filled with holiday cheer and community spirit. It is going to be more than just a festive gathering; it's a rallying point to raise awareness for Cook Park and it's incredible potential, while highlighting the vibrant small businesses that are the backbone of the community. Through events like this, we aim to identify how much the community can benefit from increased activations and initiatives designed to enhance public spaces like Cook Park. Activation Components Include: Christmas Tree Lighting: The centerpiece of the event, a magnificent 20-foot Christmas tree, will light up the night, symbolizing the hope and unity of the community. Santa Claus Engagement: Santa will be available for interactions with children, offering gift cards and holiday memories that will last a lifetime. Holiday Vendors Market: A two day showcase of local vendors, including food, drinks, and holiday-themed goods, managed by Atlanta Indie Market, giving small businesses a platform to shine. Musical Entertainment: Live performances from local artists, spreading holiday joy through music. Roller/Ice Skating & Ferris Wheel (tentative): Fun and entertainment for all ages (subject to availability). Community Involvement and Support This event is a community-driven initiative, and we are calling on the residents, city officials, municipalities, and sponsors to get involved in making it a success. Your monetary support, resources, donations, and volunteer efforts will be crucial in bringing this vision to life. Parking instructions
Parking is available on the street and the nearby. If parking on the street, deck, or lot of choice, please adhere to regulations. Parking options are plentiful, but vehicles are not protected or secured by Atlanta Indie Market. There is no "designated" Atlanta Indie Market parking area, but there are plenty of options nearby. Vendors will have designated "unloading" area, but must park in alternative location once vehicle is cleared.

This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booth price below, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

 

Please note, all items for your booth set up must be provided by you, the vendor. All work displayed in the booth must be for sale. We will provide a tent onsite, but all other items should be brought by the vendor. 
 
Electricity, water, and additional set up items are not provided on site. If you require power for your set up please ensure to bring a generator, or alternative means to create electricity.
 
Additional information for booth set up success provided in the terms and agreements below. To ensure we have an appropriate variety of vendors represented at the market and all vendors have an ample opportunity to sell their goods, please ensure to select your category in your application below.

 

If you sell jewelry, you may apply in a category other than Jewelry if jewelry is less than 10% of your items for sale. Otherwise, you must apply in Jewelry.

 

  • Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural.
  • Fiber: Includes wearable and non-wearable. No machine-tooled, machine-screen printing, or other forms of mass production are accepted.
  • Glass: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes are permitted.
  • Jewelry: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry. Items made from commercial parts may not be exhibited.
  • Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. No jewelry will be accepted in this category.
  • Mixed Media: Work which combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece.
  • Musical Instruments: Handmade instruments.
  • Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature.
  • Photography: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only artist’s original source material is acceptable.
  • Printmaking: Only hand-pulled original prints are allowed. Prints must be in limited editions, signed, and numbered.
  • Sculpture: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium.
  • Two-Dimensional: Drawing, painting, and digital works. Reproduction prints are not allowed.
  • Wood: Original works that are hand tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.
