This is a Town of Superior event for the community and is intended to provide a safe and comfortable event for guests, families, vendors, and volunteers. To ensure the safety and enjoyment for all, the following terms and conditions apply to event attendees.
Hours:
The event begins at 2:00 p.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m. with a last call for alcohol service at 5:30 p.m.
Parking:
Event Parking is limited. Guests, vendors, and volunteers are encouraged to park at the free shuttle parking lot (at the corner of Coalton Road and McCaslin) and use the free shuttle running every 15 minutes. Parking in unauthorized parking areas at or near the event may result in vehicles being ticketed or towed at owner’s expense. Park in designated parking areas only.
Beer Fest Tickets:
Beer Fest Tickets can be purchased either online in advance or in-person at the event gate on the day of the event from the event sponsor, the Rotary Club of Boulder Valley. Third party ticket resales are prohibited, and tickets purchased from other sources will not be accepted.
Purchase of Beer Fest Ticket is required to sample alcoholic beverages provided by vendors.
Proof of legal drinking age is required to purchase a Beer Fest Ticket. Tickets are non-transferable. Guests participating in the Beer Fest must wear an event issued wrist band to verify legal drinking age.
Vendors providing alcoholic beverages are subject to change and purchase of a Beer Fest Ticket does not guarantee attendance by a vendor or samples of specific beverages.
VIP Tent Tickets:
Entry into the VIP area is limited to VIP Ticket holders. All persons entering the VIP area must have a VIP Ticket and wear VIP wristband. No Exceptions.
Alcohol and food provided to VIP Ticket Holders is for consumption within the VIP area.
VIP Ticket holders also may participate in the Beer Fest. Beer Fest Vendor offerings are available to VIP Ticket holders at the vendor tents located throughout the event premises.
Single Serve Beer Sales:
Persons over 21 years of age may purchase beer and/or other alcoholic beverages during the event. Proof of legal drinking age is required and any purchaser must wear an event issued wrist band after presenting government issued identification to confirm age. No alcohol purchased at the event may be removed from the premises.
Purchase of a single serve beverage ticket is for use at the single serve tent only and is not accepted for use at the Beer Fest or for VIP access.
There are no refunds for single serve tickets and tickets must be exchanged for beverages at the time of purchase.
Weather Policy:
This is an outdoor event and is subject to rapidly changing weather conditions. This is a rain or shine event with no refunds given. If the event is cancelled due to extreme weather, or a public emergency which prevents the event from occurring as scheduled, and a rescheduled date is offered, ticket holders may attend the rescheduled date using the original ticket purchased.
Chili Fest and Vendor Items:
Promotional items may be given to attendees at the discretion of vendors. Attendance at the event does not guarantee attendee will receive free chili samples, promotional items, or promotional services.
Participation in the Chili Fest is free to all. Chili is available on a first come, first served basis. Guests sampling chili should inquire about ingredients if there are any dietary concerns or allergies. Sample chili at your own risk, chili is served hot.
Guests may bring their own food, but may not bring any alcoholic beverages to the event.
Prohibited Items or Activities:
• All Town of Superior Rules and Regulations for Public Parks apply.
• No glass containers are permitted on the premises (with the exclusion of the Beer Fest mugs).
• No smoking is permitted on the premises.
• No dogs or other animals are permitted on the premises, except service animals.
• No firearms or other weapons are permitted on the premises.
• No fireworks or other incendiary devices are allowed.
• No drones are allowed.
• All persons entering the premises are subject to search. All bags brought to the premises are subject to search.
• All persons, including guests, vendors, volunteers must use approved entrances and exits designated for the event.
• Any disturbances or unruly behavior will be reported to law enforcement and subject the persons involved to immediate expulsion and/or criminal prosecution.
• Only approved vendors accepted by the Town of Superior are allowed to participate and/or sell items or services during the event on the premises.
Photos and Videos:
Attendance at the event expressly authorizes the Town of Superior and its partners to take photographs, videos, or recordings of persons participating or attending the event without compensation or further authorization. Such likenesses or images of persons attending may be used by the Town of Superior and its partners for any purpose.
Children’s Activities:
Children’s activities and use of equipment for recreational equipment involves risks. Parents are responsible for the supervision of any minor accompanying them at all times. All rules and regulations posted for use of equipment must be followed. Participation in games, activities, or use of recreational equipment inherently involves risk of injury and parents expressly waive any claim for injury, loss, damage, for themselves and their children attending the event. Any injury should be promptly reported to the event manager for the Town of Superior.
Vendors:
Vendors shall abide by all terms and conditions in their contract with the Town of Superior, shall use the assigned space for their booth and activities, and shall set up and take down any booths, tents, or other equipment at their own expense during designated times. Vendors are subject to all the terms and conditions that apply to any person attending the event.
Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver:
All Persons entering the event Premises expressly waive any claims for injury, or damages, on behalf of themselves, their children, heirs, executors, or other persons who may claim damages from the injury or death of a person attending the event. Any claims are subject to arbitration subject to the Colorado Uniform Arbitration Act. All persons attending expressly waive any claims whatsoever which may be made against the Town of Superior, its directors, employees, agents, vendors, volunteers, and other co-sponsoring partners including the Town of Superior Chamber of Commerce and The Rotary Club of Boulder Valley, and any of its officers, directors, volunteers, or members and the Boulder County Sherrif’s Department. This waiver is legally binding on all persons attending the event and shall be construed as broadly as permitted under Colorado law.
