The 2024 Charlotte Chalk Art Festival COVID-19 Safety Protocols 95% of festival activity will take place outdoors in well-ventilated open spaces. If there are interactive activities where the sharing of crafts or other materials takes place, hand sanitizers will be on hand as appropriate. Festival goers, crew members, sponsors, exhibitors, and vendors MAY BE REQUIRED to wear a mask upon entering all indoor spaces if the establishment requires it. This is contingent upon Mecklenburg County Health & Safety Protocols. Festival goers, crew members, sponsors, exhibitors, and vendors are strongly encouraged to wear masks if they are not comfortable with sharing less than a 6′ distance from any persons they interact with. Hand sanitizer MAY BE available at key locations around the festival site. Volunteers MAY BE REQUIRED to wear masks while serving in their capacity as volunteers in indoor spaces should the venue require it. This is contingent upon Mecklenburg County Health & Safety Protocols.
