Drop Gallery is excited to announce an open call for artists residing in the Chicagoland area to participate in our upcoming exhibition, " Brushstrokes and Beats: Honoring 50 Years of Hip Hop." This vibrant showcase marks the 50th anniversary of the Hip Hop movement and aims to explore the diverse artistic interpretations of falling in love with Hip Hop.
We invite visual artists of all mediums and styles to submit their artwork for consideration. Whether you specialize in painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, or any other visual art form, we encourage you to share your unique perspective on the profound impact of Hip Hop.

Deadline for Submission: July 21, 2023
Notification of Approval: July 28, 2023
Delivery of Artwork: Artwork must be delivered to Drop Gallery by August 4, 2023
Exhibition Dates: August 11 – September 2, 2023

Please note that a 30% commission will be charged on all sales during the exhibition. Drop Gallery will handle all sales transactions and provide a platform for artists to showcase and sell their work to a diverse audience of art enthusiasts and Hip Hop aficionados.
Artists whose submissions are selected will have their artwork prominently displayed in our gallery space, surrounded by the energy and sounds of Hip Hop. This is an exceptional opportunity to engage with a dynamic community of artists, connect with a passionate audience, and celebrate the cultural significance of Hip Hop's 50-year legacy.
