Welcome Vendors 💕 Please carefully read the following info before applying:

Load-in: 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Load-out: 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Booth Fee: 10 x 10 space - $10 + 6% processing fee
Art Garden KC's Berkley Riverfront Festival is our traditional Sunday "hippie-fest", geared towards new & experienced vendors! Our mission with this location is to provide a low-barrier, relaxed and risk-free space for vendors learn, grow and make friends :)
This is NOT a curated event, it is open to all local artists/makers of all skill levels and styles, regardless of vending experience. The event is hosted EVERY Sunday through October 27th. Artist & Maker applications open Every Monday prior to the Sunday event. The first 60 vendors to apply each week will be guaranteed a spot. Booth fees are $10 (plus 6% processing fee)
You will be charged immediately upon approval, so please make sure you have funds on the credit/debit card attached to your application when you apply. If your card declines, you will be placed on the waitlist and we will select the next vendor in line. Open to:
- Handcrafted makers
- Artists
- Cottage food vendors
- Healing arts/metaphysical (reiki, tarot, mystics etc)
- Other service vendors (henna, massage, facepainters, caricature artists etc)
Vendors MUST live within a 50 mile radius of Kansas City.
Vendors bringing their own their own 8x8 or 10x10 canopy must have 20-30lb weights per leg, bungees, chairs, tables, tablecloths, and displays.
We understand some new vendors may not have a canopy, therefore you may select to borrow and share one of our 10x10 canopies until you can afford to purchase your own. If selecting this option, we will place another vendor in the 10x10 space with you. Each will have room to bring a 6ft table, 2 chairs, 1 display stand and/or grid wall. We have a limited amount of "borrowed canopies", so please try to purchase your own as quickly as possible to make room for other new vendors.
- We encourage live art and live paintings at ALL our events...shoppers LOVE to engage with artists creating on the spot :)
- Food trucks, drinks and port-a-potties are available on site. Feel free to bring your own snacks/beverages.
- Pets, children, family are welcome to join you in your booth or hang out at the event, just please make sure they are well-behaved and do not disturb other vendor's displays :)
Once you have applied with us and been approved to vend, you will be added to our Vendor Contact List and begin receiving weekly "Roll Call" emails for this event and other vending opportunities

- Commercial Rate: $250 per event date + 3% processing fee
- Non-Profit Rate: $150 per event date + 3% processing fee
- COMMERCIAL VENDOR: A business/organization that does not fall within our "handmade artist/maker guidelines" and intends to set up to advertise, disseminate information, and/or sell a product, device, or service. We encourage vendors to provide an interactive activity or merch giveaways at their booth.
- NON-PROFIT VENDOR: A non-profit booth is defined as any organization with a 501(c)(3) designation. A copy of your tax-exempt status must be submitted with your application.
- Vendors must provide their own 10x10 canopy, 20-30lb weights per leg, chairs, tables, tablecloths, and displays.
- Commercial/Non-Profit vendors will be given notice once approved for all or some of the dates requested. If spaces are full, you may be added to our waitlist and contacted once a space is available.
- If approved, your account will be charged (in full) on the 1st of the month for ALL approved dates in that month, unless you request to pay in full for ALL approved dates this season or make a different payment arrangement.
- Booth locations will be assigned on the event map. Your map location will be viewable 1 week prior to the event date. Art Garden reserves the right to make changes to booth locations as needed.
- The volume of patrons varies by event and usually depends on the weather. This year we are projecting 1,500 attendees in the 5 hour span of each Sunday event.
- A total of 1 beverage/dessert truck and 3 food trucks will be accepted each Sunday.
- We do our best to rotate the trucks that are accepted to give new trucks an opportunity and to keep a good mix of food choices each event date. *Please note: if similar food categories apply for the same date, we do our best not to book similar trucks for the same date.
- No fee to vend, but in return all food trucks must agree to honor $10 vouchers for our volunteers/staff.
