An Architecture guide will point out over 60 buildings on this comprehensive tour of the city’s rich history. The journey begins with an up-close perspective of Chicago's internationally-known architecture as seen from the Chicago River. Then, venture through the Chicago Lock to gain a new perspective of Chicago's architecture from Lake Michigan. Ticket Details: Admission on board the 4:45pm Chicago River Architecture Tour aboard Wendella Cruise Lines. Food & Drink is not included, but available for purchase once on board. Restrooms are also included on the vessel. Timing: 4:00pm - Gather in lobby at Marriott 4:15pm - Depart for Wendella dock as a group 4:30pm - Begin boarding for cruise 4:45pm - 6:15pm (90 minutes) - Cruise 6:15pm - Group leader will escort you back to the hotel, or you can explore the city from here Distance from Hotel: The Wendella dock is conveniently located just 0.2 miles from the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. From the lobby, exit the Michigan Avenue entrance, walk South to the river, and walk down the stairs to the Wendella dock just before the water. This is approximately a 4 minute walk. Recommended Attire: Wear what makes you comfortable! Sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended as you will be outdoors and looking up at magnificent buildings.
