About the application

Join LaBelle Downtown Revitalization Corporation (LDRC) for the 4th Annual Pet Costume Contest! The scary cute fun happens on Saturday, October 22nd in Barron Park.

Check-in begins at 9:30am. The Pet Costume Contest will kick off at 1:00 pm (or very close to it). CHECK-IN AND REGISTRATION CLOSE AT 12:30 pm.

The lovely Swamp Cabbage Festival Royalty will judge the Pet Costume Contest! Your pet's costume will be judged on:

CREATIVITY (25%): Was the costume made creatively, colorfully, and does it show personality?

ORIGINALITY (25%): Does the costume stand out from the rest?

COMPLEXITY (25%): Did the costume take time and effort?

THEME/AUTHENTICITY (25%): How accurate and thorough is the costume?

Prizes are awarded to the pet with the most votes in the following categories:

BEST OWNER & PET COMBO
CUTEST
SCARIEST
FUNNIEST
MOST UNIQUE

Winners of each category compete for the OVERALL GRAND PRIZE!

Terms & Conditions

ABSOLUTELY NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS ARE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE. If an LDRC volunteer sees your dog being aggressive towards another animal or human, you will be asked to remove him/her from the park. NO EXCEPTIONS! Animals must be leashed. Please pick up after your pet. Remember, even if no one sees your dog poop, it doesn't mean it didn't happen so PICK IT UP!
