Participant Rules
All vendors must pay the $125 Application Fee to participate as a vendor at the Manitou Days Grande Parade. Proof of insurance and applicable licenses, including the temporary merchant permit from the City of White Bear Lake are also required. All supporting documentation should be sent to parade@maintoudays.com upon submission of the application.
White Bear Events will accept and review vendor applications until May 31, 2025. Applications received after May 31 are subject to a $25 late fee and will be considered if space permits. Preference will be given to local and long-standing vendors. A confirmation email will be sent upon approval and set up information will be mailed in early June.
Sales: All Manitou Days Grande Parade vendors are responsible for remitting sales tax to the State of Minnesota. Contact the MN Department of Taxation for more information.
Exhibitor Locations: The Parade Director will assign vendor space for the Manitou Days Grande Parade. Location of vendor space will be determined by the order in which applications and entry fees are received. Duplication of stands in the same area will be avoided if possible. All stands are to be self-contained. You must provide your own electrical source and generators. Participants are responsible for their own vending units and materials. Participants should be prepared in case of bad weather. All vendors must remove their own garbage. Vendor space is limited.
Insurance & Indemnity: All Manitou Days Parade Vendors agree to hold White Bear Events, The Manitou Days Grande Parade Committee, the City of White Bear Lake and all Manitou Days Grande Parade sponsors harmless from all liabilities and claims. Vendors are fully responsible for insuring their own actions and property in connection with the Manitou Days Grande Parade. Exhibitors are responsible for security and storage of their own items. All vendors are responsible for handling and safeguarding their own cash during the Manitou Days Grand Parade. Neither White Bear Events or the City of White Bear Lake are responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
Warranties: White Bear Events will make every effort to orchestrate a successful Manitou Days Grande Parade, however, they cannot warrant the level of attendance, weather conditions, sales or any circumstances beyond their control.
