By applying you agree to the following terms and conditions as contractually binding:
Whidbey Ren Faire Media Agreement
This agreement is made upon application approval between Whidbey Ren Faire (hereinafter referred to as "the Event") and the applicant (hereinafter referred to as "the Media Representative") regarding coverage of the Whidbey Ren Faire on May 24th and May 25th, 2025.
1. Media Badge & Access -
The Media Representative is granted a media badge providing access to designated areas for the purpose of photographing, filming, or reporting on the event. Access to restricted or performer-only areas requires prior approval.
2. Ownership & Usage Rights -
The Media Representative retains full copyright ownership of all photographs, videos, and other media they capture at the Event.
The Media Representative grants Whidbey Ren Faire a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the media for promotional, archival, and marketing purposes (including but not limited to website, social media, print materials, and advertising).
The Event agrees to provide appropriate credit to the Media Representative whenever feasible.
3. Conduct & Guidelines -
The Media Representative agrees to follow all event rules, respect attendees, vendors, and performers, and obtain necessary permissions before capturing close-up images of individuals when required.
Any media captured must accurately represent the spirit of the event and must not be used in a defamatory or misleading manner.
4. Delivery of Media -
The Media Representative will provide Whidbey Ren Faire with access to high-resolution copies or links to their published work within a reasonable timeframe.
5. Liability -
The Media Representative agrees that they are attending and covering the event at their own risk and that Whidbey Ren Faire is not responsible for any loss, theft, or injury that may occur.
