Celebrating community through music on the porches of Virginia Highland! Kick-start the day with our Rock n Run at 11 am. Then, enjoy some of the best local bands and musicians in town on the lovely porches around the neighborhood from 12 pm to 6 pm with a finale performance from 6-7 pm in John Howell Park.

About the Event

Virginia Highland is BACK for its 5th year on May 17, 2025. Over 75 local bands will be jammin' and porches will be hoppin' as music fills the neighborhood.

Want to Collaborate with Porchfest?

If your storefront is located on or near North Highland Ave, you can sign up to host a band on your patio, in your parking lot, or within your business. Interested in hosting a band or collaborating in some other way with the event? Fill out the application before March 14 to let us know.

Terms & Conditions

Applicants certify that all information provided on this application is accurate and true.
Porchfest music hosts must be located on or near North Highland Ave to be accepted.
Hosts must agree to the liability waiver attached in order to be accepted.
Hosts agree to allow musicians to connect to their electricity (businesses are not required to provide equipment or cords).
Once notified of acceptance, please send the liability waiver to events@virginiahighlanddistrict.com by April 30.
