About the event

Thomaston Mule Days pays homage to the mule history of Thomaston and will feature artisans and craftsmen and Kid's Zone Activities at Greatest Generation Park from 10-3pm. Live Music, Food, and a Sip n Stroll, will fill the streets of Downtown Thomaston from 5-10pm that eventing.

About the application

The Thomaston-Upson Bicentennial Planning Committee is excited to host the Pie Eating Contest at the 2nd Annual Mule Days Festival. 

 

Prizes: Winners will recieve Bicentennial Swag and the Honor of Pie Eating Contest Winner for the next 50 years!

Terms & Conditions

  • Must be 18 years of age to enter.
  • Entries are limited to the first 10 contestants to register.
  • Contestants may not touch pie until the starting signal.
  • Contestants will have 5 minutes to eat as much pie as possible. 
  • When the 5-minute time limit is up contestants may not put any additional pie in their mouth.
  • In the result of a tie it will be decided by an “Eat Off”

  • I know that eating large amounts of pie is a potentially hazardous and an uncomfortable activity. I should not enter and eat unless I am medically capable. I realize that this is all in good fun, and I agree to be a good sport. I agree to abide by any decision of the contest officials and all of the contest rules. I assume all risks associated with eating in this type of event including, but not limited to, indigestion, that stuffed feeling, contact with other contestants, a general dislike for pie after I am done. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, I waive and release the City of Thomaston and the contest organizers from all claims of liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event.
