Pet Pageant

Get ready for a paw-some time at the Gulfcoast Pride Pet Pageant on October 19th, 2024, in the vibrant Rosemary District of Sarasota! Bring your furry friends to compete for fabulous prizes as they strut their stuff across the stage, showing off their unique charm and personality. Whether your pet is a diva, a dashing hero, or simply adorable, this is their chance to shine. Join us for a day filled with fun, community spirit, and plenty of wagging tails! By participating in the Pet Pageant, Pet owners acknowledge that the Pet Pageant takes place during a loud and busy street festival and affirm that their pet is safe and trustworthy around large crowds of people (including children), other animals, loud noise (including live music and other noises), movement, vehicles, etc. and that their pet poses no risk of injury or threat of injury to people, property, or other animals. At all times throughout the event, Pet owners agree to the following terms and conditions:

·        Pet owners and handlers are solely responsible for the actions of their pets.

·        Pet owners and handlers are solely responsible for the safety of their pets and for ensuring the safety of other persons and pets in contact with their pets.

·        Pet owners and handlers must always have control over their pets (by using leashes, carrying cases, or holding their pets) at all times.

·        Pet owners and handlers, not Project Pride SRQ, Inc., are responsible for any injury to persons or other animals or damage to or loss of property caused by their pets while participating in the Pet Pageant or attending the festival.

·        Pet owners and handlers agree to pick up and dispose of pet waste appropriately and not to leave pet waste anywhere on the festival grounds other than in a trash receptacle.

·        Pet owners and handlers are responsible for keeping their pets safe from the sun and heat throughout their time at the festival and for providing adequate hydration.
