Thank you for your interest in performing at Northern Nevada Pride! We host virtual auditions in order to be more inclusive of talent from all across Northern Nevada and the world!

Northern Nevada Pride Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering and participating in any Northern Nevada Pride event, the undersigned agrees to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If the participant is a group or organization, the undersigned agrees to convey these terms and conditions to all members of the group or organization.

2. Eligibility

Participation is open to individuals, groups, and organizations that support the mission and values of Northern Nevada Pride, including a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, particularly of the LGBTQIA+ community. All participants must complete the registration process and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

3. Registration

All participants must register by the specified deadline. Only one representative from each group or organization is required to complete the registration. No late entries will be accepted.

4. Check-In

Participants must adhere to check-in times and locations as provided by Northern Nevada Pride Officials. Any participant who fails to check in by the specified time will not be permitted to participate in the event.

5. Event Route and Rules

Participants must adhere to the event route and all instructions provided by Northern Nevada Pride Officials and the Reno Police Department. Participants must follow all local, state, and federal laws during the event.

6. Conduct

Participants must conduct themselves in a respectful and safe manner. No alcohol or drugs are permitted. Unsportsmanlike conduct, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior will result in removal from the event and potential disqualification from future events.

7. Safety and Compliance

All floats, booths, and participants must comply with safety regulations, including maintaining a safe distance between units and ensuring that all decorations and equipment are secure. The use of open flames or pyrotechnics is prohibited unless approved by Northern Nevada Pride Officials and the City of Reno.

8. Liability and Indemnity

Participants assume all risks associated with participation in Northern Nevada Pride events. By registering, participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless BUILD OUR CENTER INC. dba NORTHERN NEVADA PRIDE, its officers, directors, members, agents, employees, contractors, assignees, and any other representatives from any claims, damages, or losses arising out of participation in the event, including but not limited to personal injury or property damage.

9. Medical Treatment

In the event of an emergency, participants grant permission to Northern Nevada Pride, its contractors, assignees, or representatives to seek emergency medical treatment on behalf of the participant.

10. Parental Consent for Minors

If the participant is a minor, the undersigned parent or legal guardian consents to the minor’s participation, acknowledges the risks involved, and agrees to all terms of this release on behalf of the minor.

11. No Refunds

All registration fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be given for any reason, including but not limited to failure to participate, disqualification, or removal from the event.

12. Agreement to Values

All participants and the companies or organizations they represent must support the values of Northern Nevada Pride, including a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, particularly of the LGBTQIA+ community. Participants are expected to promote and uphold these values throughout their involvement in the event.

13. Agreement to Rules

By registering for or participating in any Northern Nevada Pride event, participants acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions, as well as any additional rules, check-in times, or other specifics provided by Northern Nevada Pride Officials.

14. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any disputes arising out of participation in Northern Nevada Pride events will be resolved in accordance with Nevada law.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

By registering for or participating in any Northern Nevada Pride event, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
