About the event

Sunday Tickets available for $35! Tekko is Pennsylvania's largest anime convention, attracting nearly 12,000 unique and diverse fans from across the country (and world!) to the region. We aren't just any old anime convention, though. We offer so much more by featuring Japanese arcade games, J-rock, J-fashion, Japanese pop culture, and education in our programming. Additionally, we choose a unique theme every year to explore new content, such as wrestling, mecha, sports, and more. This makes us one of the most diverse anime and Japanese culture conventions in the country, and we aren't done expanding yet! Tekko is presented by a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Pittsburgh Japanese Culture Society (PittJCS) . We've been bringing fans together for more than 20 years at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

About the application

Submissions will formally close at 11:59 PM EST on Friday, June 14th, 2024. Acceptances will be sent out no later than June 18, 2024. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Field Marketing Project Manager, Alexander Miller, at alexander.miller@pittjcs.org

Terms & Conditions

By completing and submitting this form, I understand that my organization must abide by all Tekko 2024 rules and the David L. Lawrence Convention Center's Code of Conduct during Tekko 2024.

I understand that my organization may only take photographs or video in the public areas of the event venue during Tekko 2024. If my organization wishes to cover a specific guest or private event, such as a panel, concert, or other performance, we must receive permission from the Field Marketing Team and Board of Directors before doing so.

I understand that PittJCS MAY offer all Press organizations special opportunities to interview with event leadership or guests at Tekko 2024. These will be the only interview opportunities made available to my organization and may be cancelled or rescheduled at the guest's discretion.

I understand that my organization cannot set up a media or photography booth within the event venue during Tekko 2024.
