The City of Roswell reserves the right to reject partner applications if they do not align with the America250 in Roswell mission.
Initial application screenings will take up to five business days to ensure that the basic requirements are met and that the event aligns with the organization’s mission and values.
A detailed evaluation will be conducted to assess each application. Detailed evaluation will consider feasibility, impact, alignment with organizational goals, and potential risks. Detailed evaluation will take up to five business days.
The entire evaluation process could take up to 10 business days.
The City of Roswell will provide timely feedback to the event organizers whether the application is approved, rejected or requires modifications. If it is necessary to meet with the organization to clarify or modify their event that will be arranged by contacting the representative listed on the application.
Events Unsuitable for the City of Roswell’s Approval:
- Informational and networking meetings such as Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) sessions, board meetings, and association meetings.
- Political marches, rallies, lobbying, or campaigning
- Grand openings
- Events outside of the City of Roswell
- “Adult” oriented entrainment or salacious content will not be promoted, or supported by the City of Roswell.
- Any event not directly related to the celebration, education, remembrance, or reflection of America250 in a manner that will unite us as a City regardless of our differences.
- Illegal Activities: Events involving illegal or unethical activities such as gambling, drug use, or hate speech.
- All images and language should be considered for all audiences.
- Events that pose significant safety risks to participants such as extreme sports without proper safety measures or large gatherings without crowd control plans may be prohibited.
- Events that may cause significant environmental harm, such as activities leading to pollution or destruction of natural habitats are not allowed.
