PRESS/MEDIA GUIDELINES
Submitting a press application does not guarantee approval. Our team will review all press applications and we will notify you of approval or denial. If approved, additional information will be provided via confirmation email and receipt. Each individual applying for a Atlanta Hemp World Festival press pass may only apply once.
Q. Who can apply for Press Accreditation?
A. People who work or freelance for bona fide media outlets can apply. This includes photographers, videographers, editors, and bloggers. Preference is given to members of the press who regularly cover similar events and can show tearsheets of their work. We especially look for press that has over 5,000 followers on social media.
Q. Is there an application fee?
A. No.
Q. What is the criteria to be approved?
A. Minimum 5,000 followers or subscribers on social media, valid website and/or social media URLs, coverage of fashion, art, entertainment, lifestyle, or related topics.
Q. Do you cover travel expenses for members of the press?
A. No.
Q. When can I expect to receive my press pass?
A. The email invitations are usually sent starting 3 days before the event to approced applicants.
Q. Can I attend if my media credentials are not active?
A. No, but you are welcome to buy tickets.
Q. What are the rules for using the content I shoot at your events?
A. Video under 5 minutes and photos can be used for editorial purposes. Please contact us for information on rates and conditions for commercial and advertising usage.
MULTIPLE PASSES
Atlanta Hemp World Festival press passes are issued individually. If you’re applying with a team, each person on your team is required to apply and be approved separately. All press passes are non-transferable and non-resellable. Any individual caught selling their press pass will be disqualified from attending all future Atlanta Hemp World Festival events.
ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL
Atlanta Hemp World Festival reserves the right to approve or deny any application. This decision is final and cannot be appealed. Please provide accurate information in your application so that Atlanta Hemp World Festival can make an informed decision, as you will not be able to submit further information later if your application is not approved.
