Car Show

The Melrose 7th Avenue Street Fair is a one-day event that spans over a half mile in the heart of Phoenix’s Melrose District on 7th Avenue from Indian School Road to Camelback Road. The event is FREE to the public and features over 200 local and independent artisans, food trucks, live musicians, a farmer’s market, a kids zone, a craft beer garden, and all the awesome local businesses along 7th Ave. Patrons can also enjoy the ever popular Classic Car Show (formerly Chester’s Classic Car Show ) that welcomes over 100 classic, antique, and vintage cars, trucks and hotrods. The event is hosted by the Melrose Merchants Association, a non-profit organization established to further the unique character and assets of the Melrose Curve, to facilitate safety, community, revitalization and beautification. Celebrating our 23rd year as an organization, this will be our 21st street fair.

The Classic Car Show during the 2024 Melrose Street Fair, with the support of Lambda Car Club,  is intended as a friendly community-driven competition. (The car event was formerly Chester's Classic Car Show). Participant vehicles are entered in specific pre-determined categories and judged for the best of each category. Awards are announced at 3pm on the main stage of the event.    These are the 2024 car show categories: 

• 1900 - 1949 Car
• 1950 - 1959 Car
• 1960 - 1969 Car
• 1970 - 1979 Car
• 1980 - Newer Car
• Truck - Any Year
• Convertible - Any Year
• Hot Rod
• Custom Vehicle
• Foreign Vehicle
• Best Paint Job
• Best Engine

This is an electronic agreement and by selecting your category you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.
 

Please read these terms and conditions for the 2024 Melrose Street Fair Classic Car Show with the support of Lambda Car Club before submitting application. 
Car show spaces are limited and available on a first paid/first reserved basis. All participants are subject to approval by the Melrose Street Fair Committee and Lambda Car Club. Car show participants assume all risk of bodily injury, property damage, and personal damage that may occur by participating in the Melrose Street Fair.  Participants forever waive and release any and all claims against and agree to hold harmless the 2024 Melrose Street Fair Car Show, its committee, Lambda Car Club International, sponsors and volunteers, Melrose Merchants Association and successors or assigns any kind from any and all claims which may be made for any cause whatsoever arising as a result of participation. Participant understands the risks involved in participating in such an event and hereby agree to assume those risks.
Participant check-in will be sent to you approximately two weeks prior to event date. Participants are assigned a check-in zone to help with unloading traffic. Please do not arrive early for your zone as you may not be allowed access to your space. If you do not check in by assigned time, your space will be forfeited.    Participants agree to be present at the event despite weather conditions. The Melrose Street Fair is held rain or shine and refunds are not issued. Participants agree to allow videos and photographs taken during the event to be used for promotional purposes. Vendors agree to obey all pertinent codes, laws, ordinances and regulations, including but not limited to; fire, safety, and parking.   Melrose Merchants Association, or its Board, Lambda Car Club as well as the event coordinators are not liable for refunds or any other liabilities for the vendor’s failure to obey the rules and regulations or due to the unstable condition of the area in which the event is held, caused by but not limited to; weather, fire or other calamity, any act of nature, public enemy, strikes, statutes, ordinances of any legal authority or any other cause beyond Melrose Merchants Associations control.   Melrose Merchants Association, at their sole discretion reserves the right to refuse participation to any vendor, entertainer, or other participant for any reason. Melrose Merchants Association reserves the right to request any participant, vendor, entertainer, or other vacate and leave the event premises due to merchandise or behavior deemed inappropriate for this family event.   Cancellations: Vendors who cancel their registration will not be refunded their registration fee. Vendors who do not attend the event without notice will not receive a refund and may not be considered for future events. Please consider the donation to the Melrose Merchants Association and the benefit of these registration costs.
Communications: The entire communication with Melrose Merchants Association is electronic. Every time you send us an email or visit our website, you are going to be communicating with us. You hereby consent to receive communications from us. If you subscribe to the news on our website, you are going to receive regular emails from us. We will continue to communicate with you by posting news and notices on our website and by sending you emails. You also agree that all notices, disclosures, agreements, and other communications we provide to you electronically meet the legal requirements that such communications be in writing. Comments, Reviews, and Emails Visitors may post content as long as it is not obscene, illegal, defamatory, threatening, infringing of intellectual property rights, invasive of privacy, or injurious in any other way to third parties. Content has to be free of software viruses, political campaigns, and commercial solicitation. We reserve all rights (but not the obligation) to remove and/or edit such content. When you post your content, you grant [name] non-exclusive, royalty-free and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, publish, modify such content throughout the world in any media.   User Account: If you are an owner of an account on this website, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your private user details (username and password).
