07. Best Social Media Campaign

The 2023 SFEA Awards Committee is excited to offer a revised and streamlined slate of awards to recognize and honor festivals, events, and supporting members of the Southeast Festivals & Events Association.

Awards are part of the Association’s reward and recognition program and are a long-standing tradition of highlighting the best and brightest of festivals, events, and supporting members across twelve states. Our full membership is dedicated to identifying the professionals that raise the bar and provide outstanding examples. We also use this program to set new goals and standards for the profession. We can all learn from each other and give a hardy round of applause to those who distinguish themselves with great work.

While many of the award categories lend to self-nomination, we encourage all planners and supporting members to take a wider look within our membership and submit nominations for other members who are leaders, do outstanding work, and deserve recognition.

All SFEA Kaleidoscope Award winners will be announced only at the 2023 SFEA Annual Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC. Winners of the Best Festival Award must be present to accept the award. No email notifications will go out prior to the awards ceremony.

This is for submitting for the category of Best Social Media Campaign 

Examples of social media marketing include, but are not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, webcasts, blogs, podcasts, Flickr, Pinterest, Linked In, Google Plus, etc. Are the pages informative, clear, concise, compelling enough to engage the audience, easy to navigate, have visual impact, and does it possess exceptional design features and display originality? Submit link information to your social media sites. Include a one-paragraph to a one-page summary of why the sites are deserving of the award. Include impressive stats or comments and the number of followers for each social media platform. Please share anything that you think the judges might find interesting, appealing, or impressive. This is your chance to toot your own horn!

Submit the following:

• A detailed description of your social media
• Is it clear, concise, and informative?
• Is it original, visually pleasing or have unique features?
• Can it track statistics? Is it interactive?
• Links to platforms
• Statistics of your sites
• Please share with the judges anything that you feel they should know

This form and supporting documents must be submitted through Eventeny to be judged.

You must use a separate nomination form per award category. 

Please note: Only Award submissions that we have received payment for will be judged.
